THE SECRET is a treasure hunt created by Byron Preiss in 1982. Preiss hid 12 treasure boxes in secret locations throughout the United States, only three of which have thus far been found. The search continues for the remaining nine!

  • The book is comprised of 12 images and 12 verses, and Preiss didn’t reveal which images match up with which verses.
  • Preiss unfortunately passed away in 2005 with no publicly available record of the solutions to the treasure hunt.
  • This coin honors Verse 10, which is widely believed to be associated with a New York solve.
